The Verdict


Turkey it is.

Actually I could make out Evelyn's wonderful pattern once I got it pinned out to block. Just. But the 3-D effect, the undulating curves, are just barely there amidst the color.


It is soft and lightweight. (I think. It's still drying.)


I'll definitely try it again someday in a different yarn. It's a wonderful pattern to knit.

That's the beauty of lace. You're never really sure what it's going to look like till you block it. I think it's beautiful and I love the color. Great job!

Thanks for the comment about my Brea! I think this turned out really nice, I'd love to see a picture of the entire thing, or better yet, of it being worn! I bet you can at least wrap it around your neck under a jacket, you probably won't notice the stripes so much if it's not flat. Who are you on Ravelry?
